Refund Policy
1. Introduction
We want every workshop, programme and resource we offer to be a positive and meaningful experience for you. This Refund Policy explains when refunds, cancellations and rescheduling are possible for anything you buy from Dr. Ritu Goyal through drritugoyal.com.
In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Dr. Ritu Goyal and the team that helps run her workshops and programmes. Please read this policy before you pay.
2. Free workshops and events
Free workshops, webinars and introductory sessions, such as the free IPM Workshop, need no payment, so there is nothing to refund.
If you cannot attend a free workshop, message us to ask about a future session, subject to availability.
3. Paid programmes and courses
Refunds for a paid programme depend on that programme. Its refund conditions are shown on its sales, registration or payment page before you pay. Please read the programme details first, including dates, duration, format, what is included, how long you have access, and its refund conditions.
- If a programme comes with its own refund promise, the terms shown when you bought it apply.
- If no special refund promise is shown, your request is looked at under this policy and Indian consumer protection law.
4. Digital products and learning material
Digital products include online courses, downloadable guides, workbooks, audio, guided meditations and other electronic resources.
Where the law allows, a refund may not be possible once digital content has been delivered, downloaded, opened or mostly used.
This does not apply where the law requires a refund, where the product was not given as promised, or where a specific refund promise was made when you bought it. If you have a technical problem opening something you bought, message us and we will help fix it.
5. Paid live workshops and events
For paid live workshops, bootcamps and special events, the cancellation and refund conditions are shown on the registration or payment page.
If you cannot attend, please tell us as early as possible. We will let you know what options are available, such as moving to another date or transferring your seat to someone else, where allowed.
If we cancel a paid event and do not offer a suitable new date or replacement, you will be offered a refund or another fair remedy, as the programme terms and the law require.
6. Monthly and recurring payments
For anything paid monthly or on a repeat basis, such as IPM Daily Practice, we will tell you before you join how often you are charged, how to cancel, and the refund conditions.
You can cancel future payments at any time using the method given for that service. Cancelling stops future payments; it does not by itself refund a payment already made or a period you already had access to. Any refund is decided under the terms shown to you and the law.
7. How to ask for a refund
Send us a message on our official WhatsApp number: +91 96670 54590. Please include:
- Your full name
- The email address or mobile number you used to register
- The name of the programme or product you bought
- The date you paid
- Your payment reference or transaction ID, if you have it
- A short reason for your request
Never share your UPI PIN, card PIN, OTP, net-banking password or other secret payment details with anyone, including us. We will never ask for them. We may ask for other reasonable details to check your payment.
8. How we handle refund requests
- We look at every request under the programme’s terms, this policy and the law.
- We aim to reply within 7 working days of receiving the details we need to check your request.
- If a refund is approved, we normally send it back to the same payment method you used. How long it takes to reach your account depends on your bank or payment provider.
- If the original payment method cannot be used, we will contact you to agree another lawful way.
These timelines are our service targets. They do not reduce any rights or refund deadlines you have under the law.
9. Double or wrong payments
If you were charged twice for the same purchase, or paid the wrong amount by mistake, message us with the transaction details. Once we confirm it, we will correct it quickly, following the law and the payment provider’s process.
10. Programme changes
Sometimes a programme’s schedule, teacher or format may need to change. If an important change affects something you paid for, we will tell you where reasonably possible and explain your options.
If we cannot provide a paid service as agreed, we will offer a refund or another fair remedy, as the programme terms and the law require.
11. No guaranteed personal results
Our programmes are about learning, meditation, self-awareness, emotional wellbeing, manifestation and personal growth. Everyone’s experience is different, and no particular personal, emotional, financial, relationship, career or spiritual result is guaranteed.
If your experience is different from what you personally expected, that alone does not make you eligible for a refund, unless that programme’s own refund promise says otherwise. This does not limit your rights if a service was described wrongly, was not delivered as agreed, or qualifies for a remedy under the law.
12. Your consumer rights
Nothing in this policy takes away any consumer right or legal remedy that cannot be taken away under Indian law. If this policy ever conflicts with the law, the law applies.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our programmes or the law change. The new version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. A purchase you have already made is handled under the promises made at the time you bought it, and the law.
