Medical & Wellness Disclaimer
1. General information
The content on drritugoyal.com, including articles, videos, workshops, programmes, guided meditations and other learning material, is for general education, information and personal development.
It may cover inner peace, emotional wellbeing, meditation, mindfulness, yoga, Energy Centres (chakras), manifestation, self-awareness, lifestyle and conscious living.
In this disclaimer, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Dr. Ritu Goyal and the team that helps run her workshops and programmes. Dr. Ritu Goyal is a qualified doctor (MBBS, DNB Obstetrics & Gynaecology), but her workshops and wellness programmes, including the IPM Workshop and other IPM programmes, are not medical care. They are not a medical consultation, diagnosis, prescription or personal treatment plan.
2. Not a substitute for medical advice
Our content and practices do not replace advice, diagnosis or treatment from a qualified doctor or health professional who knows your health history.
- For any symptom, illness, medicine or treatment decision, please see your own doctor.
- Do not ignore medical advice, delay getting medical help, or stop or change any medicine because of something you learned on our website or in our programmes.
- If you have a health condition, are pregnant or are under treatment, please ask your doctor before starting any new exercise, breathing practice, diet or wellness routine.
3. Meditation, yoga and breathing practices
Our programmes may include meditation, relaxation, visualisation, affirmations, yoga, breathing techniques and other mind-body practices. These can support relaxation, self-awareness and general wellbeing, but everyone’s experience is different and no result is guaranteed.
Some practices are not right for everyone. Certain breathing exercises, long breath-holding or physical postures may need to be changed, or done only with medical advice, for example during pregnancy or with high blood pressure, heart, lung or other health conditions.
Practise gently, within your own comfort. Stop at once if you feel pain, dizziness, breathlessness, panic or anything that worries you, and get medical advice if needed. Meditation and breathing practices are never a substitute for emergency medical care.
4. Energy Centres (chakras) and spiritual practices
Our content may explore the traditional Indian understanding of Energy Centres (chakras), energy and spiritual awareness. We share these as part of a traditional, spiritual and personal-development framework, to support reflection, meditation and self-awareness.
They are not a medically proven way to diagnose or treat any disease. We do not claim that Energy Centre healing, energy practices or spiritual techniques can cure any medical condition or replace proper medical care.
5. Manifestation and personal development
Our approach may include visualisation, affirmations, intention setting, emotional reflection, self-belief exercises and goal setting. These are meant to support reflection, motivation and purposeful action.
Manifestation is not a guarantee that a particular event, relationship, amount of money, career opportunity or life situation will happen. Results depend on many things, including your own choices and actions, and circumstances outside anyone’s control. We do not promise wealth, success, relationship outcomes, healing or any other specific result.
6. Emotional wellbeing and mental health
We may talk about emotional awareness, stress, boundaries, self-reflection and general wellbeing. This is not a substitute for assessment or treatment by a qualified mental health professional, such as a psychiatrist or psychologist, when it is needed.
If you have ongoing emotional distress, severe anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms or other serious mental health concerns, please reach out for professional support.
In an emergency or crisis, please get help right away:
India emergency number: 112
Tele MANAS (free, 24x7 mental health helpline, Government of India): 14416
Please do not use our WhatsApp groups or messages to ask for emergency help.
7. Results are different for everyone
Every person has different health needs, life experiences and circumstances, and responds to wellness practices differently. We do not guarantee any medical, psychological, emotional, financial, relationship, career or spiritual result from our workshops or programmes.
Testimonials and participants’ stories show their own personal experience. They are not a promise that you will get the same result.
8. Lifestyle, food and exercise information
Any information about food, physical activity, sleep, fasting, daily habits or general wellness is for education only. What is right for you depends on your age, health history, medicines, pregnancy, physical ability and other factors.
Please do not start a strict diet, long fast, hard exercise routine or other big lifestyle change without advice from a qualified professional where needed. Wellness practices should support proper medical care, not replace it.
9. No doctor–patient relationship
Reading this website, watching our videos, attending a workshop or joining a wellness programme does not, by itself, create a doctor–patient relationship with Dr. Ritu Goyal.
Please do not use website content, social media messages or WhatsApp group discussions to seek emergency care, or assume you have received a personal medical assessment.
10. Other websites and information
Our content may mention research, outside resources or other websites. We try to share information responsibly, but we cannot guarantee that outside content is complete, up to date or right for every person. Mentioning a resource does not mean we agree with everything in it.
11. Limits of this disclaimer

Nothing in this disclaimer removes any legal duty, professional duty, consumer right or responsibility that the law does not allow us to remove. Please also read our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
